One of the issues I’m very vocal about is the issue of transgender rights. This is particularly important to me because a) I believe in equality for ALL, regardless of race, color, creed, gender, sexual orientation, religions, you name it, and b) because I am the mother of a transgender individual.
A good friend of mine, Matt Duvall, is running for state senate in my home state of Pennsylvania. While I don’t live in his district, I very much support his candidacy.
Matt asked if I would be comfortable discussing my experiences raising a transgender child, and of course my response was a resounding YES!
